we all have been touched by the weight of grief and the sting of heartbreak. thankfully, what can feel like a perpetual cycle of withering can also turn into a spiraling ascension towards rebirth.
"heart reawakening" was created during a sensory meditation session while reflecting on grief, self-love, and heart chakra healing. what began as a heartbroken, greyish-brown hue lightened into a hardy, evergreen tone. celebratory pink and white splashes, splatters, and strikes were added to illuminate the playfulness of new beginnings as the heart chakra opened once again.
